Cornish Crafty Crabs! From sketches to painting.
This is stage one. I work straight from the Wacom tablet onto the computer to quickly capture the idea spending as little time on finishing as possible, just to make sure the picture works as a whole.
By stage two I have worked out in my head the gaps and details I need to fill and with pencil and paper, draw all the elements I want in the image.
Then in stage four I scan each element into the computer and separate them so I can move the around like 'fuzzy felts' until the composition is right.
Then I paint the image in the computer and there you have it. These images take between 3-5 days to complete.

Fantastic! So many great characters and details! Fuzzy felts! I bet that's like Colorforms, which I was just talking about the other day.

Hey Cindy thanks very much for you feed back. Have you got an email or FB page so very can talk a bit more. I am a real late starter to social networking and don't really get it.

Writing and Illustration to me has been my number one passion ever since I can remember. I feel very fortunate that I get to do it every day.
